The previous Award of 2016 having completed its lifetime of 3 years, Kefalonia Fisheries re-entered its premium seafood to the world-renowned International Taste Institute Competition (formerly known as International Taste & Quality Institute).
A panel of top European chefs blind tasted Sea Bass flown from Kefalonia to Brussels at the beginning of May and assigned top marks for its taste, texture, as well as other culinary attributes.
Our Sea Bass succeeded once again in making an exceptionally positive impression on the judges' expert palates. This prestigious distinction for the second time in a row confirms our ultimate commitment to offering premium taste & quality seafood to the international markets, produced under certified sustainable farming methods.
The new Award-which indicates an "exceptional taste" of a gustatory score of >90%- will accompany Kefalonia Fisheries products for the next three years.
